We will never sell or freely distribute your personal data to any third parties. All data will remain secure with us and will be used within the marketing and management tools which we use.

2. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

The personal data we collect as outlined in this document is collected on the legal basis of “Legitimate Interests”. Legitimate Interests means the interests of our business in operating and managing our service to you, enabling us to provide the best service or products possible and the best and most secure customer experience. In other words, all of our data collection is done to support our purpose as a business, as described above. We only collect data which is necessary for this purpose.

3. Contact forms

If you have used any of our contact, booking or enquiry forms on our website your data will be stored in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software as well as our email service. The personal data we store will be:

5. Direct marketing

If you have been contacted by us or vice versa, we shall store any of, or all of, the following pieces of personal data:

first name
last name

a record of all email conversations between you and us. We do this under the legal basis of Legitimate Interest so we can provide the best service and experience possible. By storing the above personal data, we can tailor our communications to you in a personalised manner. We may also use this information to keep you updated with relevant services or products we provide.

Further to this, we may use this information to keep you updated on any events we are conducting, relevant industry information and any surveys we are conducting or other research and development initiatives.

6. Cookies

This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information, and provide anonymised tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics.

As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.

7. Embedded content from other websites

Articles and media on this website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the user has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

8. Analytics

When someone visits our website we use one or more third party services, including Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things like the number of visitors to different pages on our site, and their usage patterns within those pages. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google or other organisations to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

9. Third party integrations

Our website may use social and other plugins which are provided and operated by third party companies, such as Facebook and Twitter. As a result of this, you may send to the third party company the information that you are viewing on a certain part of our platform. If you are not logged into your account with the third party company, then the third party may not know your identity. If you are logged into your account with the third party company, then the third party may be able to link information about your visit to our platform to your account with them. Similarly, your interactions with the social plugin may be recorded by the third party.
Please refer to the third party’s Privacy Policy to find out more about its data practices, such as what data is collected about you and how the third party uses such data.

10. Data security

We follow a number of best practices and make every effort to keep your data secure.
Examples of how we implement technical security safeguards include but are not limited to:

Always using secure HTTP with SSL (HTTPS) to serve pages on our website
Mitigating the effects of possible DDoS or other attacks using a third party CDN (Content Distribution Network)
Using secure third party software to store and manageable all data, for example Google Mail

Unfortunately, no method of transmission over the internet, and no method of storing electronic information, can be 100% secure. So, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your transmissions to us and of your personal information that we store.

11. How long we keep personal data for

We will store any personal data you have given us or we have of you before any contractual work, during and after the contractual service has completed. This is so if we need to get in touch about your work in the future (for example, archiving) we can do so.

You are at any time welcome to ask us to delete all of your personal data, however please note that we cannot continue to offer any service to you if this were the case.

We would remove all of your personal data from our emailing services and CRM. We would ask that we could keep your name and instrument (and / or ensemble) in our CRM tool so that we can ensure to never accidentally contact you again in a direct sales email capacity.

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This document was last reviewed on 23 April 2024.
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Where material changes to the terms of the policy are made, we’ll notify all users via email and/or on-site notifications.
We’ll always update this policy if we make significant changes to the types of data we collect or the way it is processed.
It’s important that you review the changed Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to agree to the changed Privacy Policy, then we will not be able to continue providing our services to you and will terminate any communications with you.
